If you’ve chosen to pick up golf, you’ll find that it can be frustrating at times, yet very exciting at others. One thing you need to keep in mind is that the game will certaintly reflect which ever golf course you consider.
Here are some things to think about when choosing a golf course:
How many holes? – Are you ready for a 18-hole course or something quicker like a 9-hole? Go with your vibe for that day.
What is the par for the course? – If you’re good with your driver and distance, stick with a higher par. Now, if you’re good with shorthand you may want to consider a course like a par 3 to do your best.
Is it busy? – When a golf course is busy, it puts a lot of pressure on you to move fast. This can be frustrating at times and make you rush.
What’s the layout like? – Look at the overall display of the course. Are there a lot of obsticles? If so, you may want to stick with something more open and easier.
As you can see, it’s important to think about the golf course in may different ways. If you’re not ready for an expert course, simply stick with something like a par 3 or perhaps one with very few obsticles.
